The Cognitive Development Labs presented three posters at Psychonomic Society’s Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana. The conference was held from November 14 – 18th. The labs were presented by lab coordinator, Katie Williams, former lab member Joanna Paul, and Faculty members Hilary Barth and Chenmu (Julia) Xing.
Postdoctoral assistant Chenmu (Julia) Xing presented her poster titled “Reevaluating the Role of Context in Probability Distortion”. This work was done in collaboration with former lab coordinator Alexandra Zax, former lab member Joanna Paul, Professors Andrea Patalano and Hilary Barth, and Professor Sara Cordes at Boston College.
Former lab member Joanna Paul (’18) presented her poster titled “Individual Differences in Number Line Estimation Performance: Standardized Test Scores and the Left Digit Effect”. This work was done in collaboration with lab coordinator Katie Williams, and Professors Andrea Patalano and Hilary Barth.
